In line with our university's internationalization goals, a comprehensive study visit to Naama University in Algeria was conducted between January 27-31, 2026.

The visit was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Derya Deliktaş, Director of the University's Center for International Relations and International Student Coordination Application and Research, Vice Director Dr. Berrin Demir, and Prof. Dr. Rıfat Türkel from the Faculty of Theology. During the visit, our university delegation held a series of meetings with the Acting Rector of Naama University in Algeria, Prof. Dr. Benamar Bouougada, the Vice-Rector for Graduate Education, Research and International Relations, Dr. Riad Mansour, the Dean of the Institute of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Dr. Kebir Yehia, and the Dean of the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences, Dr. Boudouaya Mebkhout.

The discussions covered potential joint EU-supported projects between the two universities, bilateral cooperation opportunities under Erasmus+, short-term student exchange programs, and academic and administrative staff mobility. In addition, during the visit, students were directly informed about the educational opportunities at our University, and comprehensive information was provided about associate degree, undergraduate and graduate programs, application and admission requirements, and support mechanisms for international students. In addition, potential collaborations within the framework of corporate quality initiatives were evaluated, and mutual exchange of views took place regarding quality assurance systems and best practice examples.

These meetings are expected to make significant contributions to increasing the international visibility of our University, strengthening academic and institutional collaborations, and developing promotional activities for international students.
